and you must be looking forward to a holiday on a sunny, sandy beach. But are
you aware of how you can avoid the dangers that this sun worship entails?
For example/First of all, you must drink plenty of fluids as you
risk dehydration. In the summer heat, your body loses water through sweat, in
an attempt to keep cool. As a result /
As a matter of fact, the body needs more water in order to / such as restores its balance. Moreover / However, steer clear of tea and coffee, because / besides they actually make
you lose more fluids. Choose water or fresh juices indeed / instead.
Next / Afterwards remember to cover up when the sun is at its

being a highly unpleasant condition, sunstroke can even /even though be fatal in extreme cases. In fact / So wear a wide brimmed hat and a T-shirt and face the
midday sun safely.
Eventually / Finally, don´t forget you sunscreen! Unprotected
exposure to the sun has some very harmful long-term effects. Therefore / In addition it is crucial to apply a sunscreen with a
high sun protection factor before enjoying the sun.
Confused? Just drink
lots of water and follow this simple but sensible advice from Australia: SLIP on
a T-shirt, SLOP on sunscreen and SLAP on a hat!
